Empuls provides real-time reports to help Super Admins, Managers, HR, and CXOs track employee engagement, recognition, and rewards (R&R) utilization. These insights help organizations optimize budgets, improve participation, and measure ROI effectively.

Who Can Access Reports?

Employees – View personal and team-level data.
Managers – Analyze team performance and engagement.
Super Admins & HR – Access company-wide insights.

Empuls Reports and Insights help managers, HR, and CXOs better track spend to calculate the ROI.

  • The budget utilisation graph elucidates the total reward budget and the budget left unutilised.

  • Employee data can be segmented by department, location, cost center, grade, or job title to gain more specific insights into each group's budget.

  • Reports can be filtered by date to observe utilisation for a defined period.

  • A user with no information for departments, cost centers, grades, locations, and designations shall be tagged "N/A" for that respective input.

  • The program administrator can access information about the allocated budgets and their utilisation to make improvements.

What’s Included in Reports?

1. Live Status & Adoption Trends

  • Track current engagement, R&R adoption, and perks usage in real time.

2. Budget Utilization Insights

  • Budget Utilization Graph – Shows total reward budget and remaining balance.

  • Date-Based Filtering – Analyze spending and engagement trends over specific periods.

  • Employee Data Segmentation – View data by department, location, cost center, grade, or job title for better insights.

  • N/A Tagging – If an employee has missing details (department, location, etc.), they will be tagged as "N/A".

Report Sections & Tabs

Empuls reports are organized into five tabs for easy navigation:

  1. Myself – Personal engagement and recognition data.

  2. My Team – Team-level insights for managers.

  3. My Organization – Company-wide analytics for admins.

  4. Raw Data – Exportable detailed reports.

  5. Custom Reports – Tailor-made reports as per your needs.

1. Myself

Empuls provides employees with insights into their engagement, recognition, and reward activities through My Reports.

Go to Home > Reports > My Reports to view your personal engagement data.

Different reports available here are:

  • Frequency of appreciation given by me.

  • Team members I have appreciated.

  • My reward budget utilization.

  • My participation in engagement initiatives.

Viewing & Downloading Reports

  • Toggle between graphical or numerical views using the icons to view different formats of the same report.

  • To download the report, switch to Excel view and click Download.

2. My Team

Managers can track engagement and rewards across their teams. Navigate to Home > Reports > My Team tab.

You can vide the following reports under it:

  • Appreciations Given – Number of recognitions shared with team members.

  • Appreciations Received – Number of recognitions received by the team.

  • Reward Budget Utilization – Percentage of allocated budget used (0% - 100%). Blank means no budget allocated.

  • Engagement Participation – Number of engagement coins earned by team members vs. organizational average.

How to Download:

Toggle to the Excel/Numerical view of the report. Click on Download Report at the bottom left.

3. My Organization

The Super Admins can access information about the allocated budgets and their utilisation to make improvements.

3.1) Account Live Status Dashboard

Tracking rewards points, nominations, and budgets is simple with Live Status reports. The Super Admin can manage all R&R tracking in one place, with the most up-to-date information on program parameters.

You can track your Budget Usage, Available Budget Points, Redemption Points, Redemption Wallet Balance, and Pending Nominations status.

Step 1: Navigate to Reports > Reports and Insights > My Organization to access Live Status reports. This report is updated on a real-time basis.

Note: The report can also be viewed as an HRBP. Use the drop-down on the right of the report and select your view.

By clicking on any report, you will see the entire report with an option to download it

3.2) R&R Dashboard

Track the effectiveness of your recognition and reward efforts with Empuls' live dashboard. The Empuls R&R Dashboard provides comprehensive usage reports for Super Admins.

Learn how to view various reports including feeds generated, awards given, budgets, redemptions, pending nominations, surveys created, gifts, and more using the steps below:

Step 1: Navigate to Reports > Reports & Insights > My Organizations to view the Dashboard.

1.1 - The engagement summary provides data about the following:

  • The Engagement Summary provides detailed information on Awards, Core Values, Gifts and Survey Data.

  • Core Value Data summarizes Core Values, Receiver/Recipient Name, Sender Name, and Date.

  • Gifts Data provides details on the Greeting Event, Greeting Name, Gift Value, Receiver/Recipient, Date, and Status, and you can download the report by clicking. Download Report.

  • Award Data provides details, including Award Name, Reward Value, Receiver/Recipient Emp ID and Name, Nominator Emp ID and Name, Budget Name and Owner Name, Nominated and Approved Dates, and Status.

  • Survey Data report provides data on Survey Name, creator_email, Survey Creation Date, Status, Total Invited, and Total Responded.

  • Active Groups Data report lists Active Group Names and the Total Number of Discussion Threads for each group.

Step 2: The data displayed is limited to your selected reporting span. Click on the calendar icon and choose the required dates.

You can also download different reports by clicking Download Report.

Step 3: Super Admins have access to a range of reports. Please see below for a list of the available reports.

  • The Appreciated Users List includes the Name, Email, and Total Appreciations Received: The Appreciative Users List displays each user's Name, Email and Total Appreciations Shared.

  • Most Effective Budget Utilisation provides data on the user's Name, Email and the Budget utilised by the user (in %).

  • Most Active Groups lists data on the group name and the no. Of discussion threads.

- Points Overview lists the source of points, new points added and unused points.

- Application of Points report lists down the number of points rewarded, send out as gifts and unused points.

  • Funds overview provides details about the new funds added and the unused funds.

  • Applications of Funds provide Total funds used for redemption, unused funds and total funds used for expiry.

1.2 Data Overview

The Data section of reports gives complete details of feeds on the platform(conversations), budget lifecycle(budgets), and award usage(awards).

Step 1: Navigate to Reports > Reports & Insights > My Organizations and scroll down for data overview.

Step 2: You can customize the report for a specific pivot. Click on Pivot by Department and select the option required. You can Pivot by Department, Designation, Cost Center, Business Units, Grades and Location.

Step 3: On the top right side of the report you can toggle between a graph or table format.

Step 4: Click Download to download the report as a PDF.

You can view details of the following data:

  • Frequency of appreciations given: Numbers indicate the average number of appreciations shared by employees from that group.

  • Frequency of appreciations received: Numbers indicate the average number of appreciations received by employees in that group.

  • Distribution of appreciations: The thickness of the connection is proportional to the number of times appreciations were shared by those on the left to those on the right.

  • Reward budget utilization: Numbers indicate the percentage of budget used for awards and it ranges from 0% to 100%. Blanks indicate you didn't allocate budgets.

  • Average point(s) given: Numbers indicate the average number of reward point(s) given by an employee in the group.

  • Average point(s) received: Numbers indicate the average number of point(s) received as gifts by an employee in the group.

  • Frequency of nominations raised: Numbers indicate the average number of nominations raised by an employee in the group.

  • Point(s) remaining: Shows data for groups with the highest number of point(s) available for redemption.

  • Monthly Active Users: Percentage of users who accessed Empuls across months.

  • Core Values Usage Trend: Numbers indicate the number of times an organizational value was used to appreciate.

- Savings Trend (perks usage): Indicate data for the net savings made department wise on discounted gift cards.

4. Raw Data Report

Super admins can access different data and filter it by:

  • Awards

  • Budgets

  • Budget transactions

  • Conversion

  • Core value

  • Destroyed reward points

  • Gifts

You can also use the calendar icon to set the date range for the data you want. Use the filter icon to further refine the reports using the following filters.

5. Custom Report

Search and Manage Custom Reports

Step 1: You can search for a custom report by its name or description. Alternatively, filter reports by adding an email ID.

Step 2: You can share, edit, or delete a report:

  • Use the share icon and enter the details of the person you want to send it to.

  • Click on the three-dot menu to edit or delete the report.

Creating a Custom Report

Step 1: Click Create Custom Report.

Step 2: Select a source report from the drop-down menu. Available options:

  • Awards

  • Gifts

  • Nominations

  • Budgets

  • Redemption

Step 3: Use the filters and add details. You can apply multiple filters to customize the report. Click Next. Add a custom name and description for the report. Click Create Report.

Step 4: Click on the report to expand it. Add a custom date range by selecting a start and end date. Apply the filter to view the report.
